Wrote this song the night before we were to have our small group from church over to our house. Our friend Kim had been fighting cancer for about 5 years. She had been to Pittsburgh the previous week and had a successful gamma knife treatment there. I sang the song for her and her family and our group the next night. Two weeks later she died. The family wanted me to sing and play this song at the funeral but I had rotator cuff surgery scheduled the next day so I went in that afternoon and made this recording for the funeral on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving 2005.
