Congratulations Adam!!

We've been advertising it for a while, but today Adam officially passed the hearing for his Junior Recital. So on Feb. 4 at 3:00 be in the Recital Hall at OC for this "effective, ecclectic, enjoyable" program (to quote the department chair after the hearing). Congratulations, Adam. Can't wait to hear it.

By the way, one of the selections on the recital is Shelly Berg's jazz trio arrangement of the Beatle's Blackbird. Rebekah will be playing piano and David McKenzie on bass. Adam played this piece in the National Small College Band in NYC with Shelly Berg's trio a couple years ago, emailed Mr. Berg to request a written arrangement and received same from him in pdf format. Except the piano part wasn't written out so dear old dad spent a few minutes transcribing a part for Bek to play. Cool, eh?

Jordan has been selected to be the new piano technician for the Oklahoma State University Music Department. He is continually improving in his skills and this appointment is a fine accomplishment. (Does this mean we have to become Cowboys supporters now?)
CONGRATULATIONS Jordan!! (Nov 14, 2006)
Bethany was selected for the Oklahoma Choir Directors Association (7, 8, 9th grades) Honor Choir. She is a three year member.
